Jenna Lee Dewan better known as Jenna Dewan is an American actress and dancer. She was born on December 3rd, 1980 in Hartford, Connecticut, U.S.A.
She is the daughter to Nancy Smith and Darryll Dewan. He dad has Lebanese and Polish descent. Her mum is of German and English descent. She attended Notre Dame Preparatory School in Towson, Maryland and she was a Varsity cheerleader.
She then transferred to Grapevine High School in Texas. She was voted the Prom Queen in her senior year. She attended the University of Southern California and she was a member of Pi Beta Phi, a California Gamma Chapter.
She met her husband, Channing Tatum, on set for the film, Step Up, and they started dating after the film was finished. They then got engaged in September 2008 in Maui and got married on July 11th, 2009 in Malibu, California. They, however, separated in October 2018 after 9 years in marriage.

Dewan first showed up in Janet Jackson’s “Doesn’t Really Make a difference” video in 2000, and later in “Just for You” and the All for You Tour in 2001.
